Therefore, the 1st of Dhul Ḥijjah, 1441 will be tomorrow Wednesday 22 July, 2020. Also note: The blessed 10 days commence on Wednesday 22 July, 2020 . The Day of ʿArafah corresponds to Thursday 30 July, 2020. The Day of ʿEīd Al-Aḍḥā will be on Friday 31 July, 2020. Masjid will reopen for all 5 times daily prayers with limitations of 35 people at a time. We will have 4 Jumu'ah(Friday) prayers with restrictions below. Moonsighting announcement for Ramadan 1441 Hijri After extremely careful investigation and deliberation the Ulema of Royate Hilal Committee has decided that the Rooyat information we received were unsatisfactory. Therefore the decision is that the Moon for the month of Ramadan 1441 Hijri has NOT been sighted in USA and Canada Therefore April 24th is the 30th Sha’ban 1441 Hijri and April 25th will be the 1st of Ramadan 1441 Hijri in USA.and Canada Jazakallah Ssci Toronto

As-salâmu ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatullâhi Wa Barakâtuhu We pray you are all in the best of Iman & health. It is with a heavy heart and careful consideration that the Spiritual Society of Canada Committee have decided to implement serious measures to comply with the Ontario Government order of mandatory closure of all non-essential services which includes places of worship effective Tuesday, March 24th at 11:59 p.m. We know every believer has a deep affiliation to the Masjid, however we have no choice but to suspend our daily and Jummah prayers until further notice. It goes without saying and as a reminder to the community and ourselves, we need to seek Allah’s mercy in this difficult time and urge all brothers and sisters not to miss their Salah’s at home until such time of normalcy resumes across the province. We request you all to recite Salawat/Durood Shareef, Adhaan’s & Istighfaar in abundance. May Allah (SWT) protect us all and ease the situation by the Intercession of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).  All the five daily prayers and Jummah Salah has been suspended.  Madrasa has been switched to Online since Monday March 23rd.  All sports activities will be suspended.  No khatams or nikkahs will be conducted. Please respect the decision that has been taken which is based on the recent government guidelines as well as advice from the Ulema. The Mosque gates will be locked until further notice. We are continuously monitoring the situation, to enable us to reinstate all services as soon as possible.
